Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 31, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of thefourlanguages.com and all digital products and services offered by Innovation Distributed OU ("we", "us", "our"), registered in Estonia (registry code 16434657).
By purchasing or accessing our products, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Products and Services
We offer digital educational products and services at the following tiers:
| Tier | What You Get | Price |
|---|---|---|
| DIY Course | The whole system, all three parts (12 modules): the full self-paced course, framework teachings, Repo(sitory), and self-hosting guide, as a downloadable Repo(sitory) you own and keep. Lifetime access to the course, and to the updates we make to the course and the Repo(sitory); build at your own pace. No live sessions or library are included. | EUR 550 (one-time) |
| Your landing page | One page built for the customer in two weeks. They hand over what they already have and talk us through their business; two weeks later we go through the finished page together on a call. They keep the finished file and the template it was built from. Numbers are limited, because each one carries a call. | EUR 550 (one-time) |
| Team workshops | The same system run with a team rather than built for one person, so each participant owns it afterwards. Four sessions of two hours, for up to 10 people, with a kick-off and a closing session around them. Your Root File is always first and everything else is bought on top of it, then Your Memory, Your Rhythm and Your Dashboard. Every session installs the skills and templates on each person's own machine, theirs to keep. Sold per session or as a run, never per head. Not consulting and not an IT project. | Excluding VAT. Your Root File EUR 1,500 online | EUR 2,500 in person. Each session after it EUR 1,200 | EUR 2,000. All four EUR 4,500 | EUR 7,000 |
| Sprint (Founder Launch or Founder Back Office) (closed to new customers as of 19 August 2026) | No longer offered to new customers. Customers who bought one keep everything described here. A bundle of live group sessions in which the customer builds a defined part of their business alongside other participants: the Founder Launch (storefront, pages, and client-facing products) or the Back Office (root file, dashboard, content studio, and client garden). Includes the DIY Course. Whatever is built during the sessions, and all logins, are the customer's to keep. | EUR 800 (one-time, each) |
| Drop-in Co-Build or AMA (closed to new customers as of 19 August 2026) | No longer offered to new customers. Customers who bought one keep everything described here. A single seat in one publicly scheduled live session (a co-build or an AMA, about two hours). Includes the session recording and any starter files, which are yours to keep. No membership required. | EUR 50 to EUR 200 (one-time per session, by session) |
| 1:1 Session (closed to new customers as of 19 August 2026) | No longer offered to new customers. Customers who bought one keep everything described here. A private 90-minute session with Maaria, booked on request. Not a standard tier; available to owners and others who want focused help. | EUR 500 (one-time per session) |
| Built for you | A build delivered for the customer on their own brand and content, in one of three sizes. Root Page: the website and the AI quiz, and the emails, built and live on the customer's own domain. Root Product: one working piece, such as a course platform with lessons, logins and payments, or a CRM. Root System: a whole half of the business, either the Storefront (website, quiz, email sequences and the CRM behind them) or the Back Office (Client Garden, CRM, tasks and sales), or both halves connected. Every tier includes the DIY Course and the Repo(sitory). The customer supplies the brand, the strategy, the copy and the data; The Four Languages supplies the build. Scope and price are agreed in writing before the build starts, and anything outside it is a separately priced change order. Deliverables and all logins are handed over at completion and are the customer's to keep. One business per engagement. | Root Page EUR 7,500 | Root Product EUR 9,500 | Root System EUR 16,500 per half, EUR 25,000 for both halves (one-time) |
| The Four Languages Membership (closed to new customers as of 30 July 2026) | No longer offered to new customers. Existing members remain governed by these terms until they cancel: a monthly membership for a seat in the live co-build and AMA sessions that run while it is active, announced in advance rather than on a fixed monthly count, plus access to the Build Library of past co-builds and Discord community access. Does not include the course (that is DIY). If the membership ends, the member keeps any files they have already downloaded; the live calls, the Build Library, and Discord access end with the membership. | EUR 150/month (existing members only) |
All prices are in EUR. Prices may change. Any price change applies only to new purchases, not existing customers. If you purchased at an earlier price, you keep that price permanently.
2. Account and Access
When you purchase a product:
- We create an account for you using the email address you provided at checkout
- You receive a "Set Your Password" email to activate your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
- One account per person. Do not share your login with others.
Lifetime access (for one-time purchases) means access for as long as we operate the course platform at thefourlanguages.com. If we ever discontinue the platform, we will provide at least 90 days notice and ensure you can download your materials.
Your Client Garden. If you fill in the Service Map, buy a landing page, or work with us on a build, we open a Client Garden for you: a private space you sign into with your email, holding your brief, the documents you share, your agreement, the record of our sessions, and whatever gets delivered to you. It stays open after the work finishes, because the point of it is that you can go back to it.
- Your garden is yours alone. Nobody else with a garden can see anything in it.
- The garden is a convenience, not the deliverable. Everything built for you is handed over in full at completion and is yours to keep whether the garden exists or not, so nothing you own depends on it staying open.
- If we ever close the platform, the same 90 days notice above applies and you will be able to download everything in your garden first.
- Ask us and your garden is deleted. What we keep afterwards, and for how long, is in the Privacy Policy.
3. What You Can and Cannot Do
You CAN:
- Access and use the course content for your own personal and professional development
- Build your own system using the templates and frameworks provided
- Use what you learn to improve your own business, coaching practice, or personal life
- Share your experience with the methodology (reviews, testimonials, social posts about YOUR journey)
You CANNOT:
- Share, redistribute, or resell the course content, videos, templates, or Repo(sitory)
- Use the materials to create a competing course, product, or service that teaches the Four Languages methodology
- Share your account credentials with others
- Claim the Four Languages methodology, framework, or "Root File" system as your own creation
- Copy the course structure or materials to teach others (you learn it for YOUR system, not to resell)
To be clear: The course teaches you to build YOUR OWN personalized system. It does not grant you a license to teach, resell, or redistribute the methodology itself.
4. Root System Repo(sitory)
If your purchase includes Repo(sitory) access:
- You receive a downloadable Repo(sitory) containing starter files, architecture examples, and configuration templates
- This is a TEMPLATE. It does not contain any personal data, client data, or proprietary configurations.
- You may modify and customize the templates for your own use
- You may NOT redistribute the Repo(sitory) or share it publicly
- The Repo(sitory) is provided "as-is" at the time of purchase.
5. Sessions and Services (Your landing page, Team workshops, Built for you, and the closed lines)
Sprints (EUR 800 each, closed to new customers as of 19 August 2026): the Founder Launch or the Founder Back Office. A bundle of live group sessions in which you build a defined part of your business alongside other participants. Includes the DIY Course. Whatever you build during the sessions, and all logins, are yours to keep.
Drop-in co-builds and AMAs (EUR 50 to EUR 200 per session, closed to new customers as of 19 August 2026): a single seat in a publicly scheduled live session, a co-build or an AMA. Includes the recording and any starter files, which are yours to keep. No membership required.
The Four Languages Membership (EUR 150/month) is closed to new customers as of 30 July 2026. Existing members remain governed by these terms until they cancel:
- Includes a seat in the live co-build and AMA sessions that run while the subscription is active, held via video call and announced in advance. These are scheduled as they are set rather than on a fixed monthly count.
- Includes access to the Build Library (recordings and starter files of past co-builds) and Discord community access while the subscription is active.
- Does not include the course. The course is the DIY product, a separate one-time purchase with lifetime access.
- You may cancel anytime. You keep any files you have already downloaded. The live calls, the Build Library, and Discord access stop at the end of your billing period.
1:1 sessions (EUR 500 per 90 minutes, closed to new customers as of 19 August 2026): a private session with Maaria, booked on request. Reschedule any time with 24 hours' notice.
Your landing page (EUR 550): one page built for you in two weeks. You hand over what you already have and talk us through your business, and two weeks later we go through the finished page together on a call. You keep the finished file and the template it was built from, and both are yours to put wherever you want them. You supply your brand and your copy. Numbers are limited, because each one carries a call, so a place is confirmed when it is paid for.
Team workshops: the same system run with your team rather than built for one person, so each person owns it afterwards. Prices exclude VAT.
- Four sessions of two hours, for up to 10 people, with a kick-off with the management team and a closing session around them. A Four Languages scan is done before the first session as a pre-step rather than a session.
- Your Root File is always first and is the gate. Everything else is bought on top of it, in the order Your Memory, Your Rhythm, then Your Dashboard.
- Priced per session or as a run, never per head: Your Root File EUR 1,500 online or EUR 2,500 in person, each session after it EUR 1,200 or EUR 2,000, all four EUR 4,500 or EUR 7,000.
- Up to 10 people is what the price covers. A larger group is quoted before the booking is confirmed.
- Every session installs the skills and templates on each person's own machine. Those are theirs to keep and to keep using afterwards, with no ongoing payment to us.
- Dates are held once a booking is confirmed. A session can be moved at no cost with at least 7 days' notice; inside 7 days we will move it where we can.
- You supply the people, the room or the call, and your own accounts for the tools each person uses. This is the productized system run with a team. It is not bespoke consulting and it is not an IT project.
Built for you: a build delivered for you rather than taught to you, in one of three sizes. Root Page (EUR 7,500): the website and the AI quiz, and the emails, built and live on your own domain. Root Product (EUR 9,500): one working piece, such as your course platform or your CRM. Root System (EUR 16,500 per half): your Storefront or your Back Office, or both halves connected for EUR 25,000. Every tier includes the DIY Course and the Repo(sitory). The terms below apply to every Built for you engagement.
- Scope is agreed in writing on the intake call before any payment is taken. That written list is the engagement. Anything outside it is a separately priced change order, agreed before the work begins.
- What you have already paid us counts as credit toward a larger build. The DIY Course price, a drop-in, a sprint, or an earlier Built for you tier comes off the price of the tier you move up to.
- You supply your brand, your strategy, your copy and your data. Copywriting, brand design, logo design and business strategy are not included in any tier.
- Multi-part builds run to a fixed window agreed up front. What is completed within that window is what is delivered.
- Two rounds of revisions per deliverable are included. Further revisions are a change order.
- One business per engagement. A second brand or business is a separate engagement.
- On completion, every file and every login is handed to you and is yours to keep. There is no lock-in and no required ongoing payment to The Four Languages to keep your system running. You pay your own third-party tools (hosting, AI usage, email) directly.
- A build is bespoke work made for one customer. By paying, you agree that building may begin immediately and that the 14-day withdrawal right ends once it has. Any payment made before building starts is refundable in full.
- Built and held (optional, on request). Any build can be taken with a held year on top: fixes for anything that breaks, updates when the underlying tools change, and four scheduled check-in sessions a year, with small changes batched into them. New features, daily use and content are outside it and are quoted separately. Priced per tier: Root Page EUR 9,000 | Root Product EUR 11,500 | Root System EUR 19,500 per half | both halves EUR 29,500 for the build plus the first held year, then EUR 1,500 | 2,000 | 3,000 | 4,500 a year from year two, billed annually. You can end the holding at any time and everything built stays yours.
About the live sessions:
- Sessions run on a set schedule, via video call.
- All sessions are recorded; if you cannot make one live, you can watch the recording on your own time.
6. Refunds and your right to withdraw
EU law gives you 14 days to withdraw from most things you buy online, and that is the starting point here. For digital content you download and keep, the law lets that right end sooner, on one condition: you have to ask for your access to open immediately and confirm that you understand what that means. That is what the tick box at checkout is. Below is where you stand for each thing we sell.
The DIY Course
Your access opens the moment you pay. Ticking the terms box at checkout is how you agree to these terms, and this is the part that matters: you are asking for that immediate access, and your 14-day right to withdraw ends when it opens. Your welcome email confirms the purchase and is your record.
From then on the sale is final. The course and the Repo(sitory) are downloadable and yours to keep for good, so there is nothing to send back.
If you change your mind before you have used any of it, write to us within 14 days of buying and we will refund you in full. Once you have signed into the course or downloaded any part of the Repo(sitory), the sale stands.
If you move up to Built for you later, what you paid for the DIY Course comes off the price of the build.
Your landing page
- Any payment made before building starts is refundable in full.
- A page is made for one customer. By paying, you agree that building may begin immediately and that your 14-day right to withdraw ends once it has.
Team workshops
- Any payment made before the dates are held is refundable in full.
- Confirming a booking holds the dates. From then on the fee is not refunded; a session can be moved at no cost with at least 7 days' notice, and inside 7 days we will move it where we can.
- If we cancel a session, you choose between a new date and a full refund for the session we did not run.
Built for you (Root Page, Root Product, Root System)
- Any payment made before building starts is refundable in full.
- A build is bespoke work made for one customer. By paying, you agree that building may begin immediately and that your 14-day right to withdraw ends once it has.
- What you have already paid us for the DIY Course or an earlier tier is held as credit toward a larger build rather than refunded.
Live sessions
- Live sessions are no longer sold. If you hold a seat you already paid for, it is refundable in full until that session begins, and non-refundable once it has started.
The Four Languages Membership (existing members only)
- Cancel any time. The current billing period is not refunded, and you keep every file you have already downloaded.
How to ask. Email maaria@thefourlanguages.com with the email address you bought with and what you would like to happen. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

9. Availability and Changes
- We aim to keep the course platform available at all times, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
- We may update course content, add new modules, or modify existing materials
- For tiers with "lifetime access," you retain access to purchased materials at no additional cost, including the updates we make to the course and the Repo(sitory).
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Changes apply to new purchases only. Existing customers are governed by the Terms in effect at the time of their purchase, unless they agree to updated Terms.
10. Use of AI Tools
We use AI tools in the creation, delivery, and operation of our products and services:
- Claude by Anthropic is used as a development and operational tool. Claude Code (the CLI tool) is central to how we build and maintain our systems, and it is the tool we teach you to use in the course. The Anthropic Claude API also powers the AI-guided conversation in the Root Scan tool on this website.
- We use the Anthropic API under Anthropic's Commercial Terms. How Anthropic handles API data is documented in its privacy policy and Data Processing Addendum.
- Under those terms, Anthropic may not train models on customer content.
- AssemblyAI is used for voice transcription in the Root Scan tool. When you tap the microphone, your audio is sent to AssemblyAI to be converted into text and is not stored by us. How AssemblyAI handles audio is documented in their privacy policy.
- Root Scan storage. Your Root Scan conversation, diagnosis, and results are stored in our Supabase database (EU, Frankfurt) so you can return to your scan. Anonymous scans are keyed only to a session ID with no personal identifier. Logged-in scans are linked to your account. See our privacy policy for full details and your deletion rights.
- Course content, templates, and communications may be created with AI assistance. All materials are reviewed and approved by Maaria Tiensivu.
- During live sessions, AI tools may be used live as part of the build process. This is a feature of the service, not incidental.
The course teaches you to use these same tools to build your own system. You are responsible for your own AI tool subscriptions, API usage, and compliance with the terms of any tools you choose to use.
11. Limitation of Liability
The Four Languages Root System is an educational product. Results depend on your effort, circumstances, and application.
- We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, income, or results
- Our course and services are educational and informational, not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or therapeutic)
- Our total liability for any claim related to our products is limited to the amount you paid for that product
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
For EU consumers: You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
