The first one takes an evening: a conversation that asks about your business and about your course. Your first call opens in week 4, while it is still being built, and the second is in week 6. The third takes a few minutes once the files are in your hands.
A conversation asks about your business one question at a time, then about how your course is shaped and what a member sees first. You paste what your platform and your page get built from. That unlocks your first call, which you book six weeks out.

Your first call opens in week 4, before it is finished, so what you say on it still changes what gets built.

You upload it, and it is yours to run
The sales page, the course home, the module pages and the login are files you own. The accounts, the welcome email and the payments are set up in your name, so what comes in is already yours.
- Your own site at yoursite.com/course, or a host that gives it a real URL the same day.
- Your members' accounts live in a database with your name on it, yours to read, export or delete.
- The welcome email goes out from your own address, so a reply comes back to you.
- Payment automations in your own name, so somebody pays and their access opens on its own.
- Your course is loaded from your material: one course, with the tiers and the payments wired in.

Maija runs her group coaching on hers
She is a self-leadership coach, and her site had been offline for about a year because it no longer looked like her. Her course platform is in her own brand, on her own domain, with her group coaching and the space her members log into.
Sophie runs her eight-week programme on hers
She trains emotional intelligence for corporate teams, and her eight-week programme has run since 2019 out of a Canva deck of 384 slides, in German. Her course platform is in German, on her own domain, with the modules down the side and progress tracked.
Add a lesson, reword a module, put a new headline on the sales page. Open the file in any text editor, type over the words, and save it. Then upload it to your host the same way you would upload a photo, through whatever file manager your host gives you.
No platform in the middle, no seat, and nothing standing between you and your own members. If you would rather have Claude make the change, it can. The point is that it does not have to.
And if you carry on, the CRM and the dashboard start from these same templates and from the brand and the answers you have already given, so what you build next comes out looking like the course you already have.

This is the course platform on its own, with no back office behind it: a client garden and a CRM are a build, and we would talk about that separately. Hosting and your domain stay yours to buy and hold, on whatever host you already use. Your lesson videos are yours to record and host, and the platform links to them. Moving members or a list across from somewhere else is its own job.
